Mexline, Goddess of Nature
Mexline was a quiet young girl who liked to watch birds in the morning and tend to her garden. She had long and curly stawberry hair that fell down most of her back and big round glasses. Her parents wanted her to git married off as soon as she was born. They did find a man who had a son around the same age. When Mexline turned 15, She was married off to the mans son. He was kind to her and cared deeply for her. They lived in a big house on the edge of the town. While Mexline was in the town, someone came into their home and killed her husband. When she came home, she found her husband dead with stab wounds. She was so heart broken that she tryed to take her life.
Mexline grabbed a knife and walked over to the tub. She filled the tub. she cut her wrists each twice. She layed down in the water and let the blood flow. As she started to loose the feeling in her body, a bird flew to the window. She got out of the tub slowly and walked over to the window. The bird watched her as she drew closer. It watched her with interest and confusion. She opened the window and the small bird hopped inside. She put her hand out and it hopped onto her finder and plopped down. She looked at it with interest and watched it slowly drift off. Mexline walked out of the bathroom and into her room. The little bird didn't make any noise as she set it down on a pillow. The birdstayed by her at all times as for 4 days. It would fly around the garden and chase other birds away from Mexline's crops. After the four days it flew around and landed in a tree branch.
