Drutia, Goddess of life

Drutia is a wood nymph who was shy and caring towards all. This was read by many people as being weak or easy to manipulate. Many men took advantage of her kindness and tryed to use her to git there desires. She would try to deny and try to git the men to leave her alone but they would insist. Her parents didn't care that much and even encouraged the men to harass their daughter. One of these men decided to corner her in a ally and sexually assulted her. She layed down on the ground and cryed and cursed the mans family. Something inside her snapped and she ran after the man. He was walking around looking for other women nearby. Drutia grabbed a wooden board and swung it across his head. He fell down with a thud. The people watched as he bled out on the sidewalk. Drutia brought down the board a few more times and then walked off. She was scared that she would be arrested. The next day a police officer came and arrested her.

She was brought to the down hall and tryed for her crime. Multiple people testified that they saw her git assaulted. People did agree that he was in the wrong but her actions couldn't go unpunished. The guys parents wanted her to be killed so the mayor said she would be beheaded the next day. She wept that night. Her parents came and shamed her for not letting him git his way. That morning she was brought to the alter where she would be beheaded. She pray to the gods that they would spare her. As she layed her head down to be chopped off. She uses a needle to prick her finger. She slowly drew a symbol that she rememebered seeing in a book with her blood and closed her eyes. There were screams and crys all around her. She opened her eye to see a tall lady standing over her looking at her with curiosity. Drutia carefully stood up and walked over to the lady. The lady took Drutia's hand and they disappeared into a red mist. Drutia saw a man sitting on a throne. The lady walked over to the man a landed a kiss on his cheek. The man brandished a paper and explained that he would save her if she became his wife. She thought about it and tryed to slowly walk away. He stood up and walked slowly to her. She was scared but he just walked over and handed her the paper before walking over to his throne and sitting down. She read the paper and slowly signed it. She snapped back into the human world. The blade came down and but the blade just shattered when in made contact with her skin.
