The Last Bottle of Captain Salt Bone

Captain wossisname was a legendary pirate. He had a stash of rums that he had accumulated over the years. Legend says he had only one bottle left when he died. Something happened that drove him from the seas, and he ended up in Hearthfire at the foot of wotsit Mountains. Here he spent the night in the Tavern and was recognised by some of the patrons.   He dined in the tavern that evening, then retired to bed, the next day when he still hadn't descended by afternoon, they went ot check on him, and discovered he had died during the night. No foul play was discovered, and the cause of his death is still unknown.   The tavern keeper knowing about the legend of the last bottle, checked the captains luggage chest in case it was in there. However no bottle was found, but there was a note that read. "You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?".   Word spread and adventurers and fortune hunters began turning up in the town to see if they could track down the last bottle, as the town was the last place he had been most folk seemed to want to start there.   The body was buried in the local graveyard, however after the third or fourth time the body had been dug up by aforementioned adventurers, the priest in charge of the graveyard got sick and burned the body.   As the years went by with no further clues becoming evident in the town, adventurers stopped coming. There is still the odd legend hunter or writer who turns up trying their luck but they are few and far between.   The note was originally allowed to be inspected by prospective bottle hunters, until one muppet decided to try burning it to see if there was a hidden clue, luckily the tavern keeper at the time was keeping a close eye on them and managed to rescue it with only a small corner burnt. The note is now kept behind the bar in a sealed display case. With a sign beneath it that reads "Look but don't touch!"
