Baldorim is a lizardfolk from the district of Dryad's Gate. His family made their living from fishing, until the plague hit, which killed Baldorim's father, Kesk. After the plague subsided, Baldorim continued fishing and taking odd jobs to make a living for him and his mother, Eirda.
When Baldorim was an adolescent, a village elder named Krut took him in as an apprentice to learn the ways of being a monk, to help him in his ventures going on odd jobs.
