Priestess Solstice of Summer of the Hidden Desert (a.k.a. Solstice)
Solstice came with her clan of Tabaxi, The Hidden Desert Clan, about four or five years ago. Their desert lands far on the western edges of Khotesh they hailed from had been taken over by a powerful blue dragon leaving them to wander and roam, and as acting leader she helped her fellow clan mates find their way to Knotside. Originally there was push back considering it meant giving up their semi-nomadic way of life but now they all seem mostly satisfied with how things have turned out. While not truly worshiping any one specific god her clan did pay tribute to many devil's, Rakshasas specifically, so they were easily drawn to the Devil's Knot district. This meant they had a place of worship and Solstice of Summer quickly became a pillar of the small community as the tribe worked to refurbish and renovate many of the beautiful temples that laid abandoned. She is now a high ranking member of the Temple of the Nine Devils, and many come to her with advice both mundane, and divine. Originally she had not wanted to become a Magistrate, but she relented and ran when someone suggested it might help the Tabaxis image in Knotside considering they were still a very small minority. Solstice would much prefer spending her days running sermons, aiding in prayers, and overseeing the Temples needs, but she understands that by being a Magistrate she is still helping her community, just in a different way than what she is used to. The idea worked, and Tabaxi are by and far the most accepted 'monstrous' race in the entirety of Knotside.
