Isidora Dupree

Madame Isidora Dupree is well known locally and throughout the country. Up until about a decade ago she was an incredibly famous bard, traveling from city to city to perform in nobles homes, at grand balls and parties, and in the courts of kings. She graduated top of her class at The Blackhall Bards College and went right into Stardom, performing for operas, theaters, and kings courts and making a small fortune.   Refusing to settle for anything less than perfection she never married, and instead focused all of her energy into her career. About a decade ago she settled permanently into Knotsides Red Cap district, aiming to help bring it to fame for its artistry, and she created a small parlor for which the rich could come and see some of the best up and coming performers in a more intimate setting. Rather than the large theaters and fest halls, it is a simple affair, a small cafe front where nobles can buy small treats and drinks while they watch sets of performers looking to be hired for parties and galas. These performers are hand picked by Isidora, her own personal proteges looking for the same fame and lifestyle she had achieved. She denies the claims of it being a talent agency, simply a way for those with true potential to meet up with nobles and other rich beings in need of strong performers.   Madame Dupree also teaches part time at the Blackhall Bards College, and many of her performers she takes under her wing are found here, and each one she finds is promised full private tutelage by her once they graduate the Bards College. She has an increasingly high success rate, with nearly every single one of her proteges going on to become famous bards or artists in their field, with many hired by Kings and other high nobility of the three kingdoms. If one wishes to get a good gig, look for employment, or simply further their skills in the arts there is no finer private tutor and employer than Dupree.
