Gold Ring
This district, so aptly named, is home of the Royal Mint where the current press is used to mint all trade bars and coins with the Crest of Knotside. Specially designed to be difficult to access all who enter the isle must have papers showing their identity, and go through a variety of magic wards before entering the mint proper. Guards are stationed all throughout, with a barracks for them on the island to minimize the risk of somebody sneaking on or off the island by boat. City Guards of a high enough rank are allowed to rotate out through the Gold Ring, and each approved guard must be carefully vetted further still by the highest ranking members of the Guards, including the General. As it is such an important place, it is one of the few districts where nobody is allowed to live. As such it has no representative in the Senate of Magistrates.
