Magister Gil Roheim
Gil is the current magister of the Southside district. Born and raised in Knotside in a small apartment above their families apothecary shop, Gil is the middle child of four other siblings. The five siblings took over the family business after their parents passed during the Winter Plague and since then money has been tight. The eldest two siblings have the most knowledge of herbalism and have control over the shop, the fourth is their apprentice, and the youngest has recently started training with the Dundragon Adventuring Guild .
Gil had just begun their priesthood with the temple of Sirr, God of the Sun when the Plague struck. They had been ready to drop their studies for being a priest when their parents died, but their siblings insisted they keep at their dream, and with them spending most of their time with the Temple it meant they had one less mouth to feed and body to clothe. Now that Gil is older and has advanced with the temple they've decided to run for Magister, and they surprisingly won. The Roheim family is well known for being a pillar of the community, and Gils good deeds and charity made them well liked. It's usually odd to see a member of the faith as a Magister, but the Temple allows it since it's performing a civil duty to the city and their community.
