Calder Brevil

The Brevils are technically a noble family, but only in the loosest of terms. They are cousins, at least once removed, to a larger noble house in the kingdom of Khotesh. They are not particularly rich, nor are they quite powerful, but they have the support of the residents of Northside. Calder Brevil is the current head of his house, his elderly parents passing the title onto him, as empty as it is. Without some sort of boost in status they are sure their short line of nobility will end with their son. As such Calder has spent many years campaigning for Magister, and during the last election his fruits of labor paid off. He won by the only method he knew, making friends. Calders family holds their wealth by owning shares and holdings of various businesses throughout Northside and Merchants Cross. While they are certainly wealthier than most residents, they just barely are holding onto the status of a noble house.   Calder, while originally becoming Magister as a hope to gain power and wealth for his family, has found that he truly loves and even excels at the job. He has aided his district in bringing them a new surge of prosperity and wealth, and to see Knotside as a whole succeed brings him much joy. Rather than spending his days worried about his parents he now spends them gaining allies, penning laws and ideas for the city, and spending time with the other Magisters and the Royal Family. A boisterous and kind personality fills his heart, and his greatest asset has been his ability to easily make friends wherever he goes.   Anybody in any of the districts are free to visit his office either in Northside or Slate Book. Most of his days however are spent wandering the city and making friends, potential allies, and furthering his political agenda to help the city of Knotside.
