Torinn Drakk-Zhar

Torinn is a rather unique Dragonborn, a fighter by nature which is evident by his pieced together armor and the massive greataxe strapped to his back. Charcoal covered scales adorn his large, muscular form which gives him a somewhat intimidating visage. His emerald hued eyes, however show hints of curiosity and kindness, which may be due to him still being rather young for a dragonborn.   Hidden away by his mother during a raid on their caravan, Torinn grew up never knowing who she was or where he originally came from. Kobold scavangers had found his egg, believing it to be a dragon. The kobolds attempted to raise Torinn to be a great dragon, but soon realized that none of them knew what raising a dragon entailed. Bereft that their champion may not get the proper training and upbringing they deserve, the kobolds enlisted the help of the local Drwarves that inhabited a nearby cave system. The Dwarves were skeptical at first, not sure what to make of this development but soon agreed to raise the young dragonborn as one of their own, teaching him how to fight, dig, drink and smith as all Dwarves do. Torinn was happy with his Dwarven family but soon wanderlust got the better of him and he knew he could not stay underground forever. With a heavy heart he explained that he needed to spread his wings and see the world. Reluctantly, his Dwarven kin agreed and told him about one of their clan who had done much the same, a stout old fool by the name of Ould Sparkfist. With this knowledge and oppertunity, he made his way out into the world, eventually meeting up with his estranged uncle and finding a position as a deckhand aboard The Venture Kingsmith, a trade vessel that made it's home traveling the seas along the Twilight Coast.
