Kaphrahssh
The Everburning, The Furious Flame, The All-Consuming Pyre, The Prince of Fire
Kaphrahssh is not stricltly speaking a deity. It is a fire elemental of such proportions that its power rivals that of a god. But that is a distinction that is lost on anyone who is not a scholar. Kaphrahssh has followers and grants them powers for their service. For all intents and purposes that makes it a god in the eyes of most people.
The Everburning was introduced to the divine stage directly upon its violent birth at the culmination of the defilement of the Lightwood during the March of the Dead. The flames that burned the Sundering Path through the Lightwood and finally consumed fabled Forianthis were of such immense magnitude and fed by so much magical power that in the end took on a life of their own. Kaphrahssh was born to consume and it is believed that it would have gone on to destroy absolutely everything if it had been left unchecked. As it was, it took the ascension of another god, Tal'Thin'Dal, to avert total disaster. He Who Does not Resign faced the elemental and managed to scatter it in many smaller pieces and contain them within the Lightwood as well, but not before it managed to gorge itself on the wonders of Forianthis.

Tenets of Faith
The faith of Kaphrahssh preaches that one should always single mindedly pursuit their goal, going through obstacles like fire through paper. It is a simple concept that closely resembles the nature of the elemental itself and has a lot of appeal to many people.
Aside from that basic tenet, The Furious Flame expects things to burn. It requires its followers to set things alight as often as possible. This is not an absolute edict. Followers of Kaphrahssh do not have to behave like mad arsonists, although quite a few of them actually are. However, those that dedicate burnings to their god do find it more favourably disposed.
Finally, the greatest service one can perform for The All-Consuming Pyre is to reunite one of its scattered pieces with another.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
As a fire elemental, Kaphrahssh begun it's life with the sole purpose of consuming everything. Its first clerics noticed that their powers were not so much granted to them, as they were inadvertently leaked. That led many to believe The Everburning was a mindless force without real sentience and it may well have been true to begin with. It didn't take long however for evidence to the contrary to come to light.
It would appear that The Prince of Fire is indeed sentient. It just took a bit of time for it to decide what to do with self-awareness. Its new goal is to reunite its pieces and reform its body in all its blazing glory. That is easier said than done, however, as several factors come into play, not least among them the fact that those pieces are located deep within the confines of some of the most corrupted parts of the Nightwood, surrounded by untold dangers and often patrolled by night elves. And of course there are those who seek the pieces with some other purpose in mind. If Kaphrahssh ever manages to even partially achieve its reformation there is little doubt that it will revert to its previous aim of consuming all.
Beyond that The Furious Flame does not concern itself with much. The reason its clerics appear to be essentially siphoning their powers from it rather than the more traditional way of them being actively granted to them is that the elemental cannot be bothered to deny them and they seem useful. It is even indifferent to Tal'Thin'Dal, regardless of his hatred towards it and his personal vendetta against it. On the other side of the coin though, it also has no problem with its followers campaigning against Tal'Thin'Dal or indeed pursuing any other course of action in furthering its agenda.
