Warelvain

In the country of Warelvain, shapeshifters are banned from using their abilities and as a result can only shift their appearances to those of the very old, very sick, and dying. As a result they are frequently called Shapesifters as they have to sift through many identities to find one they can safely shift into.   Warelvain is widely known as one of the most technologically advanced countries in the entire world and their trade routes are massive and are one of the main sources of income for many families in this country. Warelvain is also known for having strict laws regarding shapeshifters and even average humans, such as, shapeshifters are banned from shifting into any form, with the punishment for breaking the law being death. Humans are also not allowed to harbor or assist a shapeshifter in any way or they will be arrested for treason and assistance of the enemy.
