While Oliver Crawforde is the "face" of Firue and represents a city of wonder and marvels, no one has actually seen Oliver in a long, long time. There has been no official announcement of his passing or a change in leadership, and yet things still get signed up by him. Many of the younger and newer citizens don't even know what he looks like. Some claim he looks like an old, graying wizard, while others say he is a battle worn soldier just seeking peace in his retirement years.
Rumor and conspiracies are abundant around the story of Oliver Crawforde. The common one says that the Archives have actually taken control of the city, replacing or turning Oliver into their own puppet. The Archives denies this, yet works closing with "Oliver Crawforde."
