Mechanical Steed

In the Osarian Empire where machines and metalwork have become top priority since the last war, many of the nobles with enough money are pulled by a mechanical steed. The mechanical steeds are the masterpiece of Gnome engineers. The automaton is able to cover massive distances without the need to rest and with minimal risk of injury. The mechanical steed is the mount-of-choice for adventurers with a dire need to cover large distances in a short amount of time.   They are common in the Empire but outside their borders, they drastically decrease. Iarur is the only exception but still has noticeably less mechanical steeds that the Empire. This is due to the Empire's paranoia and distrust of the other countries. With strained relationships and already weakened, the Empire holds its secrets close to its chest. People who have mechanical steeds outside of the Empire have either smuggled the blueprints or the finished product out of the country or they created their own.
