Atwood
RIngmaster Unknown Atwood (a.k.a. Puppet master)
Atwood is a High Elf that runs the Witchlight Carnival. While the ringmaster is warm and welcoming, rumor has it that if you glance at their true face, you'll be trapped in an enchantment to do as they say. Luckily, Atwood appears to wear a mask that covers most of their face, allowing very few of the audience to get a glimpse of what they really look like. Much like the carnival, there are many rumors about Atwood and their talents. Many surround the idea that he was cursed by a fae or killed the previous ringmaster. If you ask the other performers, they refuse to talk about Atwood's past almost as if they physically can't.

Mental characteristics
Personal history
Atwood is said to be from one of the noble families of Paelum. At a young age though, they ran away and supposedly joined the carnival. At that time, the carnival was not as famous as it is today and was instead a small band of performers under the patronage of an archfey. Atwood quickly took on an apprenticeship with the then ringmaster. They specialized in wonderous and fantastical stories that awed the audience. Atwood's instrument of choice was actually dolls and puppets. With magic and imagination, they were able to bring the stories to life without the need for living actors.
Gender Identity
Atwood is non-binary. Their gender presentation typically changes and is rather fluid. One day they may present more feminine wearing dresses, jewelry, and makeup and the next day they may prefer a more masculine presentation. Off work, they will present somewhere between or off the binary, dressing comfortably.
