Mathon is typically considered the elder brother of Eghan. Mathon is very composed and calculated in his words, thoughts, and actions. From a mortal perspective, it may seem that Mathon is unresponsive or doesn't take action soon enough. However, this is because he takes time carefully considering all the possibilities and their outcomes. Because of his intense evaluations, Mathon rarely interferes with events unless he considers it worth his time.
