Crown Prince Alethor

Crown Prince Alethor is a bold and pragmatic leader, trained extensively in military strategy and battle-hardened through his successful campaigns to suppress rebellious factions. Unlike his father, Alethor is forward-thinking and unafraid to challenge tradition, envisioning an empire renewed through both conquest and progressive reform. His dark hair and sharp features exude a commanding presence, matched by his decisive and confident demeanor.  

Personality

Alethor is ambitious and resourceful, favoring practical solutions over ceremonial traditions. While he respects the empire’s history, he sees its rigid adherence to the past as an obstacle to reclaiming its former might. His independence and willingness to challenge established norms have earned him both admiration among reformists and suspicion from the entrenched nobility.   His personal goal is to revive the empire's conquering spirit while bringing the government forth to a more modern era, instead of it being stuck in the past traditions. He rejects the idea of letting the system stagnate, to instead create a stronger and more adaptable empre that can compete against their new foes, particularly the Idran Tribes.  

Leadership & Family

Alethor is a capable military commander, with successes backing him up, and this combined with his progressive ideals have made him a hero among reform-minded factions in the empire, but also a source of discontent among the traditionalists. Still, the traditionalists haven't managed to make him change his ways, as he goes decisively forward in his mission and with his unconventional approeach, often bypassing the bureaucracy, he swiftly manages to get results which further alienates much of the older aristocracy.   This often also makes him clash with his father, Emperor Menele, and though he respects his father's dignity and dedication, they remain at odds with each other due to the prince's modern outlook and assertiveness, which stands in stark contrast to his father's cautious and cyclical view of the Empire's decline. Despite this, he remains committed to proving himself worthy of his father's legacy, while carving out his own path.
