Known for their unmatched arrogance and fiery temperament, they rule over volcanic regions and burnt wastelands, dominating their domains with sheer might. Their flames are said to burn as hot as their insatiable pride, and their presence alone can bring entire kingdoms to their knees.

Physical Characteristics

• Appearance: Red dragons are massive, with scales that shimmer like molten rock, darkened and cracked with veins of glowing magma-like light. Their eyes burn with an intense, fiery glow, and their wings are large and leathery, edged with ember-like patterns.
• Height and Build: Red dragons are among the largest of their kind, with broad, muscular builds that reflect their dominance and raw power.
• Breath Weapon: A cone of intense, destructive fire that incinerates everything in its path.

Behavior and Society

Red dragons are fiercely territorial and view themselves as the ultimate rulers of dragonkind. They demand absolute loyalty from those within their territory, punishing disobedience with swift and fiery wrath. They are solitary by nature, unwilling to share their power or treasures with others. Red dragons are also obsessive hoarders, gathering massive collections of wealth and artifacts to display their superiority.

Habitat

Red dragons thrive in volcanic regions and mountain peaks where they can survey their domains. Their lairs are filled with magma pools and treacherous traps, designed to deter would-be thieves from their treasures.

Role in History

Red dragons have long been synonymous with destruction and tyranny in Wakodia’s history. They have toppled kingdoms, burned cities, and left scorched earth in their wake. Despite their fearsome reputation, some mortals have sought to bargain with red dragons, often paying a steep price for their ambitions.
