  Overview: The Nelari are the most commonly encountered elves in Wakodia. Neither reclusive nor regal, they embody the adaptability of elvenkind—living among other races as merchants, diplomats, artisans, and city-dwellers. While their origins are less storied than those of the Eldorai or Aerynthar, the Nelari are the thread that quietly binds much of the elven diaspora together. They are practical, perceptive, and endlessly observant.   Physical Traits: Nelari possess a warm range of earthy skin tones—from pale olive to dusky bronze. Their hair is often copper, deep brown, or dark with streaks of silver or gold, tied back for practicality. Their eyes reflect starlight softly, but otherwise appear close to human in shape and color. Compared to other elves, they carry a more grounded and robust build, with slightly broader shoulders and sturdier limbs.   Culture and Society: Nelari culture emphasizes cooperation, flexibility, and personal expression. They often serve as guild leaders, innkeepers, artists, urban rangers, and messengers—roles that keep society running smoothly. Though some pursue arcane training, most focus on social acumen, education, or craftsmanship. Nelari enclaves are often marked by communal gathering halls, artisan shops, and embroidered crests passed down through family lines.   Region: Nelari are especially common in mixed-race settlements across Stonefell, with a strong presence in Nemsarai and towns all over the continent . They are rarely seen in isolated elven holds but thrive in cities and border regions where cultures intersect.   Faith and Beliefs: Nelari follow a variety of gods, often blending local tradition with elven reverence. While some honor Aelindara or Okenfell, others align with minor Elven gods or even faiths from other races.
