House of Hunger Tiefling

House of Hunger Tiefling

The Hollow-Blooded

“I’ve had enough... and yet I still want more.”

Overview

Tieflings of the House of Hunger bear the silent, consuming mark of Vorgrath, the Maw of Desolation, and the cruel patience of Azrathis, the Withering Lord.
Their lineage is not one of flame or wrath, but of endless longing—an ache beneath the skin, a hunger of the spirit.
They often walk through life in stillness, observing more than speaking, yearning more than acting.

Physical Traits

Skin Tone: Pale yellow, sickly green, or waxen gray
Eye Color: Dull violet, pale gold, or clouded white
Notable Features: Gaunt frames, hollow cheeks, slow breath, faint shimmer of withered light in their gaze

Cultural Traits

In Akumaura, Hollow-Blooded tieflings are often apothecaries, healers, or quiet mystics.
They understand slow suffering—how it creeps and consumes—and many dedicate themselves to relieving it in others.
Others walk a darker road, drawn to forbidden knowledge, hunger cults, or parasitic magic. Their restraint is a cage—and some choose to break it.

Playing a House of Hunger Tiefling

Withering Touch: Once per long rest, you can make a melee attack that drains vitality.
On a hit, the target takes necrotic damage equal to 2d6 + your Charisma modifier and must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or gain 1 level of exhaustion.

Hollow Resilience: You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion.
