House of Ash Tiefling

House of Ash Tiefling

The Emberborn

“From ruin, I rise. From flame, I see.”

Overview

Tieflings of the House of Ash carry the legacy of Karzalim, the Pyres of Ruin, and the ruinous will of Varkathis, the Smoldering King.
Where others fear endings, the Emberborn embrace them. They walk the line between destruction and transformation—quiet, intense, and forged in ash.
They are often drawn to themes of loss, memory, and cleansing fire.

Physical Traits

Skin Tone: Pale ashen white, gray, or charcoal
Eye Color: Molten orange, red, or glowing gold
Notable Features: Ember-like veins, horns like scorched bone, faint smoke wisps when breathing or emotional

Cultural Traits

Emberborn tieflings are often artists, philosophers, or those who honor death and memory.
In Akumaura, they serve as cremation masters, blacksmiths, or lorekeepers, tending to what was with dignity before letting it fall to ash.
They are seen as calm, intense, and wise—though often misunderstood as omens of ruin.
