Half-Orcs of Wakodia
(Children of Two Worlds)
Overview
Half-Orcs in Wakodia are the children of strength and survival — born from the union of orcs and humans across battlefields, trade routes, or shared hardships. They walk between two legacies: the honor-bound might of Sinbog’s tribes and the ambition of humankind. Neither fully orc nor fully human, they forge identities rooted in resilience, endurance, and personal choice.
Some rise as warleaders or champions. Others become smiths, poets, or exiles. No matter the path, Half-Orcs are defined by their will — to survive, to grow, and to carve out meaning in a world that rarely welcomes contradictions.
Physical Characteristics
Appearance: Half-Orcs typically inherit the muscular frame of their orcish parent, with gray, olive, or ruddy skin tones. Their tusks are smaller than a full-blooded orc’s, and their faces bear strong jawlines, thick brows, and sharp eyes. Hair is often dark, coarse, and pulled back in braids or knots.
Lifespan: Half-Orcs mature faster than elves or dwarves, reaching adulthood by 16 and living around 70–85 years.
Height and Build: Between 5’10” and 6’6”, with broad shoulders and sturdy builds.
Culture and Identity
Half-Orcs have no single homeland. In Stormspan, they walk alongside the Korgathi orcs beneath thunder-lit skies. In Ashrend, they may be raised in the Trial Grounds of Drakthul. Others grow up among humans in border towns or city outskirts, always walking a tightrope between belonging and exile.
Some embrace the Path of Iron; others reject gods entirely. They are often self-made, defined by trials rather than traditions. While some suffer scorn, others become respected champions, bodyguards, or blacksmiths — valued for both their strength and loyalty.
Faith and Beliefs
Half-Orcs raised among orcs often venerate Sinbog or Skarnak, finding meaning in strength, storms, or sacred trial. Others adopt human gods or drift away from faith entirely, choosing instead a personal code — forged by battle, betrayal, or blood.
Legacy
Half-Orcs are living proof that strength takes many forms. In Wakodia, they are not monsters or misfits — they are warriors of grit and passion, born between stories, and destined to shape new ones.
