Goblin
Goblins of Wakodia
(Child-Race of Sinbog and Theris)Overview
Goblins are clever, fast-talking, and fiercely independent tricksters found across the wild and hidden corners of Wakodia. Created by the jealous war-god Sinbog and infused with curiosity from Theris the Whispering Mind, goblins represent the ungovernable spark of mischief and invention. While often underestimated due to their size, goblins survive and thrive through cunning, speed, and relentless adaptability.Physical Traits
Goblins are small, wiry humanoids with oversized ears, long fingers, and glowing yellow or green eyes. Skin tones vary from mossy green to burnt ochre or rust brown. Many decorate themselves with stolen trinkets, strange gadgets, or charms crafted from bone, glass, and junk.Culture and Society
Goblin culture favors communal improvisation over order. They form loose-knit bands or tinkering clans, often centered around scavenged lairs, caves, or mobile contraptions. Goblins prize cleverness, survival, and trickery over brute strength. In urban settings, goblins are found as back-alley merchants, alchemists, entertainers, or inventors with no regard for safety protocols.Though they have no formal homeland, goblins are found in high numbers in the Emberflat Wastes, old Dwarven ruins, and even within sprawling cities like Nemsarai — if you know where to look.
Faith and Beliefs
Most goblins offer casual homage to Sinbog or Theris, though few are deeply devout. Some believe their madness is a gift from both gods — one of chaos and battle, the other of obsession and innovation. A rare few whisper that Sinbog made goblins in spite, jealous of the elves and gnomes.Appearance Variants
Some goblins have oversized heads, twitchy hands, or luminous eyes — side effects of their chaotic divine heritage. Others grow fungal freckles, oily hair, or unusually long limbs.Playing a Goblin
