Tranquil Shadows Spheres of Danger

The tiers of danger are a scale of threat that the eldritch horrors of the world, and the other terrors that the The Tranquil Shadows have incorporated for their operatives to delineate threat and containment of specific hazards.

Sphere 1: Uhŕ - (meaning) Benign- (Threat assessment) Non-hostile or inert anomalies: Easily contained by wards, dreamlight, or study - (Operational meaning) “Observed, recorded, forgotten.” Used for curiosities, dream echoes, inert relics.

Sphere 2: ön - (meaning) Inconvenient- (Threat assessment) Minor hazard: unsettling, mildly dangerous, but easily isolated. (Operational meaning) May cause fear, insomnia, or light distortion. Neutralized with ritual cleansing, or non-dangerous, but concerning.

Sphere 3: ṭṣøn - (meaning) Concern - (Threat assessment) Slight danger: Capable of harming an individual through contact or exposure. (Operational meaning) Localized danger — injury, psychic feedback, or infection risk. Standard intervention.

Sphere 4: Thè - (meaning) Danger - (Threat assessment) Moderate danger to one or concern to many: Fatal or maddening to unprepared individuals; minor environmental corruption possible. (Operational meaning) Required: Field units deployed. Contact prohibited without purification wards, or equivalent gear.

Sphere 5: Vwù - (meaning) Death - (Threat assessment) Moderate danger to many: Can spread, infect, or kill multiple beings; limited geographic reach. (Operational meaning) Quarantine and/or dreamfire burn required (or equivalent, specific procedures). Collateral possible or likely.

Sphere 6: Plèṭṣïb̧ - (meaning) Existence - ( Threat assessment) Existence level threat to all in affected zone (non-planetary): Existence-level threat to all in affected zone; self-propagating. (Operational meaning) Entire districts sealed. Only highest operatives engage. Often ends in self-termination, or other loss of operatives.

Sphere 7: Frůɸ - (meaning) Reality - (Threat assessment) Reality danger on planetary scale: Warps or redefines physical or mental laws; planetary-scale hazard. (Operational meaning) Evacuation of consciousness priority. Only known successful containment due to the One-eyed Prince.

Sphere 8: Dvawv - (meaning) - Stars - (threat assessment) Cosmic reality danger: Uncreation event; annihilation of reality, time, or meaning. (Operational meaning) *Finality protocols*
