Currency
All species of Aurora use metallic coins as a means of currency; precious metals, ores and gemstones can be found in the mountains/caves of Aurora if only one knows where to look. The more accessible of these precious materials was mined/refined centuries ago and has been circulating around the continent for as long as anyone can remember. These various materials are valuable due to their use in ornamentation and machinery, and in rare cases, magic. The most used currency here is copper, silver and gold pieces.
