Zavala family

One of the biggest factions in Kyiv by night, Zavala family of Ventrue clan are running a hospital, blood bank, and virus research facility, with a newly established pharma company, aiming for a successful and influential business venture.   Their family sigil is two serpents coiling around and face to face with each other forming a zig-zaggy eternity symbol.   The Family claims domain over hospitals, pharmacies, and grounds around them, of course only in the areas under Camarilla control where they can actually enforce their claims [faction (42) ].   Family is a vassal of Timon Desrosiers, but provides finances to the entire newcoming Camarilla. After arrival they have began acquiring businesses, sponsoring Camarilla, and getting embrace rights in return.   Zavalas are very loyal to Timon as their liege; they have great relationship with (12) Toreador (sex) theater, and (11) caitiff spies; neutral acceptance for the Prince. They are at odds with Snjezhana, Ismail because he enforces their domain borders too strictly, and are in rivalry with (21) hypno studio crew and would act against them if there's much profit in doing so.   Interestingly, Zavalas have also created goodwill with an Anarch faction - (42) amateur necromancy chantry based on the left bank. They are also very friendly with the Ventrues of Nite Bite, which might be sensitive in terms of tension between the Prince and the Old Prince.   Their goal is to of course expand the business empire and influence in the mortal world, and consequently in the Camarilla as well.   Patriarch of the family is Yahspar Zavala. He is a handsome man with square jaw, clear dark skin, and half closed eyes, he looks like a celebrity that you have seen somewhere but cannot quite remember exactly. He gives off a relaxed purring vibe, like he is getting a massage right this moment.   Yahspar is materialistic and lives in luxury that caused him to stagnate and grow bored with the unlife. He believes in the balance and logic to all things, cause and consequences, crime and punishment. Yahspar's most treasured possession is his family, but in the sense of their collective legacy rather than personal needs of the individual members. He is vain and craves a twisted type of glory where few know his name, but many feel his influence. He would do anything to get more of that.   Yahspar's assistant, confidant, and wife by blood marriage is Cecilia Zavala. She is a middle aged-looking woman in great physical shape and of calculating scientific mind. She could lead missions to space if she wanted to. She always has a clipboard in her hand where she makes notes and memos for running business ventures, meeting details, to-dos, and instructions to numerous staff.   Cecilia is composed and practical, a problem-solver both in her element and in the midst of chaos. She believes in keeping the family happy, and would do everything to serve this goal. But even then she remains efficient and cold. Coming from a war-torn background long ago in her mortal life, her most treasured state is peace. Cecilia would do everything to keep their achievements and children from the exploding chaos of the war, be it Jyhad, domain border skirmishes, or the tiny conflicts of mortals. She is blindly obedient to her husband, and the mutual blood bond has twisted their relationship over the decades, turning them both into the obsessive controlling mentors to each other. It is a state of hopeless bitter harmony.
