The Draconic Migration

After the Dusk wars, the Dragons of the world had suffered greatly. Beings of immense power, they were quickly drawn into the war on both sides, losing many of their numbers to the fighting.    It was decided that they would migrate west, to find new lands that they could call their own, rather than share the dying world with the lesser races.    Few stayed, preferring to live amongst the people rather than abandon them. Golds, silvers and steels were the main dragons that chose this life, with a few others (namely the elder dragons) also choosing to stay behind.   With the alpha predetors of the land gone, many new species of magical creatures appeared, roaming the wilds as the new dominating forces of nature.
