The Fey
"The Fey is a direct reflection of the material plane, a place where time and space act differently to what we are used to. It is a place of stories, legends and magic, where the stories of our world come to life in unusual and marvellous manners. It is unknown whether the stories came first, or the Fey that love them, but what is known is that the cycle of stories continues over and over and over again, fey being slain then reborn to live a similar life all over again, or simply never dying, living on through the ages. What would happen if one such fey were to break free and lose their story? These are questions I have often pondered over, never to find an answer." - Eluris Dranier, Elven scholar and Fey explorer.
Geography
The Fey has a similar geography to our own world, only enhanced by the magic that perpetrate the whole plane. Mountains on outside may be huge crystal pillars on their side, a lake could be made of wine, a forest may turn to a field of giant mushrooms and fungus. Anything is possible in the realm of whimsy.
Another curious effect if the Fey is that there is no day or night, rather the place exists in perpetual twilight. Move one direction, and eventually you will hit night, move another and you will hit day. This has lead to the use of Dayward and Nightward to give directions, as conventional compasses do not work here. The other directions are Winterward and Summerward, as the seasons are geographical locations rather than yearly cycles here.

Ecosystem
The ecosystems of The Fey are as varied as the real world. moreover, the immense levels of wild magic in The Fey, the fauna and flora have developed uniquely to adapt to this abundant resource. As a general rule of thumb, the further duskward you go, more fungus and nocturnal creatures can be found. The further dawnward, the brighter and more vibrant the colours until you reach the glass desert.
