Arka

Summary

Arka is a city-state in Southern Laivra. Because it stands at the crossroads of important water and land travel routes, Arka has a large and diverse population, though Satyrs are the largest group. Arka is the largest trading port on the Washujin, so while it attracts a great deal of attention from the greedy and disreputable, even those with more pure intentions often travel there in search of rarities from across Vrashyn. Arka has a strained relationship with its eastward neighbor Tanalki despite its cultural similarities, and raids from Goblins to their north are a constant fear.  

Major Settlements

• Arka: A coastal city and trading port dominated by a temple to the Latris god Hermes that also serves as the city's central market.
• Teichos: Arka's agricultural center. It also serves as the training grounds for the Arkan military.
• Kakom: The largest of a chain of mountain strongholds that monitor the nearby Goblins.
