Ascension of the first Dunelord

Founding

The Day that the first Dunelord, Derrengia Testudo, rose to power.

Derrengia Testudo founded the Testudan Dynasty this day, and created the Kingdom of Arislane by founding the then-independent city of Al Manzil. In order to protect this fledgling city from invaders and Wyrms, Derrengia allowed the eldest Sandwyrm, Shia-Barokh, to have refuge under the city, and in exchange for the Testudo family’s servitude the Dunelord would be allowed to control the wyrms in the desert.
