Space System Information
Sectors
These are the largest areas of space and are mapped to nine districts in a three by three grid. Ships can travel between sectors by using Void Drives but the time taken to travel is so long that cryogenic tubes are needed to keep the crew in suspended animation.
Districts
Districts are areas of space that contains between four and eight systems. Travelling between districts is achieved by using Void Drives and cryogenic tubes. Although the time is only a few months, this is a lot less than travelling between sectors that can take up to one year!
Systems
These are planets that orbit a specific star. There are several systems in each District. Travelling between systems is only possible via Void Gates and can various amounts of time and credits.
