Lord Rulmac Heavyarm didn't plan to lead the combined Cremaian forces at Marken, but he somehow found himself in that position, having been nominated by his king and the rulers of Llafwanwyr and Danreay. He is one of four commanders in charge of the joint military effort working to hold back Burn's army at Marken.

Personal history
Lord Rulmac Heavyarm was born into a common family in Dunstock, where he grew up training as a soldier. His commanding presence led to a leadership role and eventually a lordship.
He was appointed as an ambassador to Te'ralyn on behalf of his people, and he gained a name for being a fair and even-tempered diplomat. Later, he was sent to Danreay, where his reputation only grew.
When the call came for Cremaia's nations to help Lawesee following Marken's fall, Dunstock agreed to send troops, as did Llafwanwyr and Danreay. Dasmoral had no standing army and Crandol declined sending any of its soldiers. Lord Heavyarm was chosen to lead this joint military force.
