The Great Grove

The Great Grove is an enormous grove of Birches with only a ring of enormous Oaks in the center, holding treehouses wherein dwell the druids of the Great Grove. It functions as the capital of Dalland. Composed almost exclusively of Vaettir (blue elves), and certainly only of elves of either color, the Great Grove is unwaveringly adherent to the Old Religion and almost all of the druids here are members of the Circle of Stars. They hate Mar and all he stands for, and the other "Heroes" to a lesser degree. They don't care if the Celestials want to wipe out all non-elven life on the planet; they trust the will of their divine ancestors. The Great Grove claims this has nothing to do at all with racism and is happy to play politics with the other nations while they bide their time and seek ways of subverting the Heroes (who they view as the only opposition to the Celestials enacting their will on all of Voktegård. There is a Meadhall near the center of the Great Grove called the Silver Sickle.
