The mounds of papers and books covered the table, some stacks taller than Riel when she was standing. Tips flowed in from all over the continent about threats to villages, thieves causing problems on main roads, giants wandering too close to cities, and those were just the simple ones. Once credible threats were identified, her task was to match the appropriate adventurers to the job so they would be handled effectively and efficiently. Send the wrong adventurers and they died, well now that didn't look very good for the guild. Send the wrong adventurer and they barely break a sweat, they would ask for assignments from a different guild Coordinator and she'd lose her credibility.
