Districts

Char Valley

Char Valley frequently refers to the outer rim of Karcin proper. It could be considered the lower class areas, with smaller homes and drab coloration. The cobblestone isn't as well maintained and the street lights are fewer and far between, though the houses themselves are built close and clustered. These people frequently work the fields or provide the labor for the city proper, but have no real trade themselves.

Char Valley is named so because of its lower elevation and darker coloration than the rest of the city. Some will say it's in reference to the dirt the workers in the area always seem to be 'wearing', others will say it's named because the streets are always so dark while the rest of the city will be alight.

Cherry Rock

Cherry Rock is where the vast majority of the town proper is located, as well as the market square. Named more for the bright pink and purple cherry trees the town has been careful to cultivate, this area of the city tends to either be washed in bloom or dusted in the falling petals. It's a neat, orderly place with a small, regular guard that maintains the peace and keeps things civil and pleasant around the shops and markets. The houses in this area are larger with some space between. A fair few will have back yards and small, personal gardens to supplement from the larger, mass grown food surrounding the city. Farm owners, shop owners, tradesman, skilled hands, merchants, and others of means make up the majority of the city and Cherry Rock's population.

King's Bridge

Karcin nor the land it is in has never had a King, but the area is named after the idea of governance and that's what is in this smaller section of the city across the only bridge of the river that runs through Karcin. The buildings are few but some of the nicest, a pride of Karcin, with a large town hall for gatherings and voting. The field beyond to the south-west is where the populace of Karcin meet with their wolves, so the area is always well kept and maintained. There are a couple of homes on this side of the bridge but they are noticably separate from the governmental buildings. These estates belong to older wealth of Karcin and tend to be important political and social figures, even if they don't expressly hold public office.
