The Shanah were the firstborn of the great Sentinel.

Said to live for a hundred years, they spread across Vitallia and flourished in distant corners of the world. Yet their time was tragically brief, brought to an end by a series of devastating events.

Many perished when the Amber Cell was woven, giving rise to the Darklands. Others fell to raiders in the Southern Seas, while northern expansion by the Freefolk claimed even more. Scattered remnants were hunted and slaughtered throughout mainland Vitallia.

Despite their short-lived presence and constant persecution, the Shanah built a magnificent civilization, one whose secrets remain hidden to this day.

Records

Scholars believe the Shanah were divided into seven great tribes, broadly categorized as Stone Tribes and Hawk Tribes.

The Stone Tribes were builders and settlers, rooted in specific regions where they established complex societies.

The Hawk Tribes were nomadic, roaming Vitallia in pursuit of knowledge, power, and spiritual understanding.
