The Siege of Solar

The Lothenian army laid siege to the capital city of Solar. The Sartian forces, led by the princes of Sarta, mounted a determined resistance but were ultimately overwhelmed. Lothen struck with a mixed Lion Army of 25,000 troops against 7,000 Sartian defenders, bolstered by a few hundred mercenaries from Dragoria and warriors of the Medai Order of the Forked Tongue. The battle was brutal, with heavy casualties on both sides. Amid the carnage, a legendary duel took place, the Medai champion Kronus clashed with the Lothenian heroes Ram and Tario Criden. Though Kronus was driven back, the encounter ended in tragedy with the death of Tario Criden.
