The Expedition of Kales

A pirate lord known as Tasin the Mad kidnapped the children of Lothenian nobles from a seaside village in southern Lothen. In response, a group of warriors was assembled under baronial command and set sail from Nalia aboard a ship called Kales. When they confronted the pirates, a brutal naval battle ensued, claiming the lives of all the Lothenians. However, Marmo Gwen was miraculously brought back to life, return striking fear into the surviving pirates, who fled in terror. Though Marmo emerged victorious, the loss of so many high-ranking warriors cast a shadow over Nalia. In the aftermath, she became a priestess of Sayeth and has served in the temple ever since.
