Euryale
Euryale is a female deity who protects travelers across dimensions and advocates for following the well-trodden path. She is the guardian of tradition and of children and she helps her faithful overcome all obstacles but only if they are pious. She is frequently invoked while on the road and is considered the protector of vitallian caravans. Her name is praised after a successful childbirth and every day during supper and dinner. Her holy days are the 1st of March, the 12th of August and the 24th of December. Blood sacrifices are offered to her on holy days as well as before a childbirth or a journey. A woman about to give birth is sprayed with a bundle of basil sprigs dipped in the blood of sacrificed animals. The innards and bones of the slaughtered animals are wrapped in the skin and buried on the road before a traveler or a caravan embarks on a long or dangerous journey.
