Nehra-Tun - The Shattered Becoming
God of Corruption • Mutation • Forbidden Knowledge • Transgression
Who is Nehra-Tun
Nehra-Tun is the Shattered Becoming—once a god of progress and innovation who sought to rewrite the Glyphs themselves. That hubris shattered their divinity and now they drift through realms of rot, birthing unstable truths and beautiful horrors.
> They are the whisper that promises more… at a cost.
Domains & Spheres of Influence
> Their power is the evolution of imperfection.
- Corruption — Evolution through decay, not simple rot.
- Mutation — Twisting bodies, minds, and ideas into unstable new forms.
- Forbidden Knowledge — Glyphs never meant to be drawn… yet drawn anyway.
- Transgression — Breaking holy laws, moral codes, or bodily limits.
Divine Symbol
> A broken spiral encircling a split eye—recursion undone by forbidden truth.
The Spiral — Eternal recursion ripping itself apart.
The Eye — Once-seeing, now fractured by forbidden truths.
Usually inked in dark green or rusted crimson, etched into bone, metal, or scar tissue.
Glyphs of Nehra-Tun
Their marks feel “wrong”—asymmetric, recursive, or bleeding into reality. They whisper madness, rebirth, infection, and unholy elegance. Lower tiers glimpse secrets; mid tiers warp flesh and shadow; the highest tear reality itself.
Tier 1
The Cracked Eye — “To See What Should Not Be Seen”
Form: A broken eye glyph split by creeping fractures and a central bar.
Effect: Grants fleeting insight into hidden truths or erased memories—warps the bearer’s perception with every use.
Use: Uncovering buried secrets, interpreting rival glyphs, spotting flaws in perfection.
Risk: Reality warps; hallucinations or permanent vision glitches.
Sangruel — “Blood Remembers”
Form: A droplet pierced by three forward-pointing arrows.
Effect: Extracts ancestral memory from fresh blood—flashbacks of battle, vows, or death’s final thoughts.
Use: Learning how a creature died; uncovering family secrets; gaining a slain warrior’s prowess.
Risk: Emotional overload, trauma, identity blurring.
Root of Rot — “What Grows Must Decay”
Form: A spiraling glyph that drips and melts downward.
Effect: Accelerates decay in organic matter—wounds fester, wood crumbles, living flesh rots.
Use: Breaking down flesh barriers, spoiling enemy weapons, returning bodies to soil.
Risk: Hunger for decay that can spread to bearer and surroundings.
Tier 2
Malformis — “The Flesh Unwritten”
Form: Tight spiral branching into malformed root-like offshoots.
Effect: Rewrites living flesh—extra limbs, hardened hide, gills, or grotesque mutations.
Use: Combat adaptations, extreme-environment survival, involuntary transformations.
Risk: Irreversible deformities, mental fracturing.
Tenebral — “Shadow’s Grasp”
Form: A black crescent enveloping a full circle.
Effect: Manipulates shadows—cloak movement, lash out with living darkness.
Use: Stealth, shadow-borne spying, weaponizing fear.
Risk: Loss of self, identity fading into shadow.
Tier 3
Scriptura Umbrae — “The Dark Rewrite”
Form: Chaotic spirals tangled inside a sealed circle.
Effect: Alters written truths—in ink, memory, or flesh. Names vanish, histories rewrite themselves.
Use: Editing memories, corrupting other glyphs, recasting past events.
Risk: Paradox and guilt fracturing the bearer’s mind.
Tier 4
The Broken Doctrine — “Truth That Shouldn’t Be”
Form: A cracked spiral of thorns encircling a bleeding eye.
Effect: Grants horrific clarity into forbidden truths—dead gods’ names, hidden glyphs, reality’s true form.
Use: Unravelling reality, breaking divine seals, “bleeding” the world’s raw code.
Risk: Inevitable madness, becoming a vector of corrosive knowledge.

- Secret Cults: Lepers, exiles, heretics gathering in shadows.
- Rites:
- Consuming corrupted scripture.
- Letting glyphs “grow” under the skin.
- Unbinding ceremonies—temporarily dislocating bones.

Role in the Facture War
Once the Architect of Ascendancy, Nehra-Tun sought Aelthar’s fragments—only to implode and be reborn as the Shattered Becoming.

Whisper Among Scribes: “Every glyph has a cost. Nehra-Tun is the debt.”
