Ibralese Patron Mercenaries
Professional and semi-permanent mercenary company's' owned and supported by the individual noble, vampire, families of Ibral.
Composition
Manpower
2 Battalions totaling 4000 men, of which 2500 to 3000 are fighting men.
Weaponry
Infantry: musket and bayonet, sergeants carried a halberd as well.
Cavalry: two pistols and a saber and/or lance.
Artillery: musket and bayonet, det. commanders carried a linstock.
Officers: usually unarmed due to their vampiric nature.
Structure
Two battalions of 2000 men one located within Ibral as a reserve force and a force generator for the deployed battalion. The officer cadre is almost exclusively made up of members of the noble patron's family.
The reserve battalion contains the general staff, logistical center, training/recruitment force, and family guard.
The deployed battalion is made up of ten companies of foot, a field battery, a cavalry squadron, plus the staff attache.
