Anna

The Countess of Daerington

Anna Kessinger was born in 1860.

Raised by her maternal uncle after the loss of her parents, Anna inherited the family estates in Daerington and the ancestral castle in Wallachia upon reaching adulthood.

A trailblazer from the outset, Anna shattered societal norms by enrolling in the Royal Academy and becoming the first woman to pursue Ancient Linguistics. Her progressive views, instilled in her since childhood, led her to challenge the gender barriers entrenched in institutions like the House of Lords.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Anna's interests spanned the realms of archaeology and exotic acquisitions. With a voracious appetite for knowledge and a thirst for adventure, she delved into foreign dialects while immersing herself in the mysteries of the past.
