The Advent Shuttle lands at a landing strip prepared by the previously deployed robots. At 15:13 local time, Verity Anne Greatorex, as mission commander, exits the Shuttle and takes the first steps by a person from the United Commonwealth on the surface of the The New World. The Royal and State Flags are raised and the annexation proclamation is read. The full crew compliment of 40 persons relocated and take residence in the prepared colony site to organise the continuing deployment of personnel and resources from orbit.
