The Playing Cards System
The Playing Card System
[Classification: Internal Access Only | Encryption Key: M1R4Y4N] The Playing Card System is the Syndicate’s secure, live database for active member intelligence. It is the central interface for:- Requesting and receiving mission assignments
- Verifying and authenticating orders
- Viewing registered member profiles within the network
- Confirming declared abilities
- Tracking leaders and sub-leaders of registered crews/gangs
- Viewing pending claims from members seeking crew/gang leadership
- Cross-referencing rank, role, and faction affiliation (if publicly declared)
Access Protocol
Issued devices—encrypted smartphones, tablets, or secure terminals—are the only authorized points of entry. Authentication requires:- Device registration to user credentials
- Verified biometric scan
- Access code: M1R4Y4N — the mandatory sequence entered to unlock the system’s operational layer
Arcana Ranks
Your Arcana Rank determines your standing, privileges, and visibility inside the system.| Imperial Arcana | Ruler | Regent |
| Grand Arcana | Overseer | House of Hands |
| Major Arcana | Ace | Magician | Jack | High Card | Wild Card | Numeral |
| Minor Arcana | Numeral | Joker |
Role Designations
Every member in the Playing Card System is assigned a role that defines their function in the Syndicate. Separate from rank, a role reflects the member’s abilities—whether specialized or versatile—along with their status, autonomy, and influence within the hierarchy. The roles are:- Emperor | Empress | Sovereign
- Ace
- Magician
- Jack
- High Card
- Wild Card
- Numeral
- Joker
Faction Affiliation
Faction alignment is recorded in the Playing Card System and displayed on a member’s profile only if it has been officially declared to the public hierarchy. Undeclared or covert alignments are flagged as Restricted and hidden from standard queries. Access to these records is limited to:- The Ruler
- Imperial Arcana operatives authorized by the Ruler
Data Access Levels
Information visibility scales with Arcana Rank:- Minor Arcana – Basic orders. Profile view limited to rank, role, and declared abilities. Visible crew/gang leaders and sub-leaders in their own network tier.
- Major Arcana – Operational orders, extended member list, partial dossiers (redacted), visible crew/gang leadership lists, and pending leadership claims.
- Grand Arcana – Full dossiers (except material redacted by the Ruler, House of Hands, or Adjudicators), complete crew/gang structures, and leadership claim records.
- Adjudicators – Full dossiers (except material redacted by the Ruler or House of Hands), all crew/gang data including disputes.
- Imperial Arcana – Unrestricted access, including all redacted files, crew/gang leadership hierarchies, and claim dispute histories.
Operational Notes
- Jokers only exist in the Minor Arcana.
- Wild Cards are prevalent in the Major Arcana and often operate cross-functionally.
- Mission requests routed through the system are matched to clearance level before assignment.
- Viewing another member’s file without operational justification may result in disciplinary review.
Youth Access Restriction
Members under seventeen are stored in the offline registry until elevation. Early digital access is rare and requires Ruler or Grand Arcana authorization, with active monitoring.[Classification: Internal Access Only | Encryption Key: M1R4Y4N]
