Playing Cards

The Playing Cards is a confidential digital network that tracks the ranks and roles of syndicate members. Accessible only with a special code on designated devices, this system categorizes members into four ranks:
  • Imperial Arcana
  • Grand Arcana
  • Major Arcana
  • Minor Arcana

Playing Cards Access

Access to the playing card system is tightly controlled and limited to specific devices, each equipped with encrypted software or hardware keys that prevent unauthorized copying or sharing. To access the digital network, members must enter a special code along with their biometric data. These devices, which include customized smartphones, tablets, or secure terminals, are issued only to verified members.   The network uses deep encryption layers, making it impossible to access without the right keys and authentication. Members access it through an encrypted backdoor link that’s hidden from the public internet and doesn’t appear in regular browsers or searches. This backdoor is triggered by specific commands on authorized devices. Vikan students use a hidden app that looks like regular software but only works when a secret code is entered.   Access Code: M1R4Y4N   Breakdown: M: Represents "Myriad," establishing the connection to the Syndicate. 1R4: Represents 1 Ruler Authority, indicating the individual member acknowleging the follow their ruler. Y: Refers to "You," indicating the individual member's accepts they are part of the organization. 4N: The last part signifies "Access Network."

Young Members

Seventeen and under members of the organization typically start in the Minor Arcana, handling basic tasks that form the foundation of the group. They aren't formally entered into the Playing Cards system until they graduate from high school, and until then, they serve in an unofficial capacity as apprentices or foot soldiers under the guidance of senior members. This time is a training period, where they learn the workings of the organization in preparation for their future roles. Upon graduation, they are officially assigned to the Minor Arcana, or in some cases the Major Arcana, marking their transition into the structured ranks and solidifying their place within the hierarchy.   In rare and serious cases, a young member can be labeled a Joker if they commit a severe crime that goes against the group's core rules. This isn’t a mark of talent or special abilities, but a punishment for betrayal. If not the individual themselves, their family might also face consequences, with the Joker status hanging over them like a curse, forcing them to operate outside the regular structure.   The Joker designation is a clear warning, a reminder of what happens when someone crosses the line. It’s a difficult position to be in, as most Jokers are stuck in a state of limbo, neither advancing in rank nor being fully trusted again. While it’s possible to work their way back into the organization’s favor, it’s much harder than the already tough climb through the ranks, requiring absolute loyalty and careful actions to regain any lost trust.
