Ashwood Towers

No one really spends all their time in the dorms. You study, you sleep, you climb—or you get replaced.
Tucked into the east side of campus, Ashwood Towers dominates the Ashwood Plaza District. Ashwood Towers comprise of six identical eighteen-story buildings curved around Ashwood Plaza like a horseshoe, with the open end pointed directly west—toward The Six.
All Ashwood Tower residents are ranked between 101 and 900. Placement in the towers reflects a student's position within the academy's strict ranking system—too low to reach the elite, too high to be ignored. That rank follows them into every hallway, every room, and every assignment. In Ashwood, where you live is never just about space—it’s about status.

Ashwood Towers North and South

Ashwood is split cleanly down the middle into two halves—North and South. Though the buildings may look identical from the outside, students quickly learn that each side carries its own rhythm, reputation, and unwritten rules.
Buildings 1 and 2 are designated for first-year students.
Buildings 3 and 4 are home to second-years.
Buildings 5 and 6 house third-years preparing to solidify their final positions before graduation.

Ashwood Towers North

Ashwood Towers North consists of Buildings 1, 2, and 3. This side of the complex is known for its constant churn. Turnover happens every semester—especially among first-year students. New arrivals cycle through at a relentless pace—most drop out or get expelled by the end of the term. Some simply vanish, their names quietly scrubbed from the registry. No one talks about it directly, but everyone knows it happens.
Life in the North Towers is chaotic. Students arrive eager, but few are prepared for the system's pace. Reassignments, quiet failures, and pressure to climb the rankings create a relentless atmosphere. In Ashwood North, you’re not just trying to find your footing—you’re trying to survive long enough to matter.

Ashwood Towers South

Ashwood Towers South consists of Buildings 4, 5, and 6. South is quieter, more disciplined, and often seen as the place where students either solidify their standing or fade out entirely. By the time students reach the South Towers, they’ve either found their rhythm or learned how to hide the cracks. The energy shifts—less frantic, more strategic. Competition becomes sharper, more personal. No one wants to drop rank. For second-years especially, no one wants to move back north. These students aren't just trying to rise anymore—they're trying to stay on top. And that’s where the real pressure begins.

Residency

Each Ashwood Tower accommodates up to 400students, structured across 14 residential floors with 28 private rooms per floor. Each room is 166.5 sq ft.
Students must vacate their rooms at the end of each term. Students are allowed to leave during academic or national holidays, or with official permission.

The bath floors are among the few indulgences in Ashwood: smooth stone soaking tubs, soft lighting, and warm steam that fogs the mirrors. The showers are open-plan with detachable heads and shared shelves stocked with basic toiletries.

Fith to Eighteenth Floor: Student Residency

The private dorms are located on Floors 5 through 18, and students are assigned a floor based on their rank each term. The layout is exact and impersonal—no lounges, no common kitchens, just a room, a number, and a rank. Room assignments shift every term. First-years are placed by entrance exam scores. Second- and third-years are ranked by their academic performance in the prior term. Land too low on the list, and you’ll find yourself on the 5th or 6th floor—a quiet warning that you're falling behind.
