The Steelcrown Accord
The Steelcrown Accord is an empire in all but name, ruled by a triumvirate of kingdoms whose original alliance of convenience has evolved into something more. What originally started as a peace treaty between warring border states has grown slowly but surely into an interkingdom trade concern wrestling with balancing their individual goals and governance with the moral concerns and advantages of strengthening the Accord into a true singular empire. The Accord has brought tremendous wealth and resources into the three kingdoms of Ebbenark, the Wes Marks, and Marcos Bay, but it has also stirred fierce debate and political strife. The only certainty is that the Accord can not last in its current iteration for long, and it will either forge itself anew or consume itself in bitter turmoil. As the vultures circle, the fates of thousands stand at the edge of a slippery precipice where one rash or miscalculated political maneuver could tip them over into the abyss of war.
Territories
Located in the northern half of the Fire/Air octant is the continent of Asherun, named for the convergence arcane leyline that bisects the land neatly in half. The small (compared to most global powers) but growing Accord spans the northern half of the eastern part of the continent known as Zexia including the islands of Marcos Bay, through the lands known as the Haeliedies, and claims territories stretching down the eastern coastline of the subcontinent Draco Minor.
