Hal Victor
Backstory:
Born into a minor noble family, Hal Victor grew up surrounded by wealth but was often overlooked due to his frail physique and introverted nature. This invisibility became his greatest asset, allowing him to observe the intricacies of court politics unnoticed. When the rebellion began gaining traction, Hal found himself disillusioned with the aristocracy’s corruption and cruelty. Using his position as Grande Librarian, he secretly aligned with the rebellion, smuggling messages and coordinating covert meetings under the guise of scholarly pursuits.
Quirks:
- Hal has a habit of nervously adjusting his spectacles when he feels cornered or anxious.
- He avoids confrontation at all costs but can deliver devastatingly insightful observations when pressed.
- While outwardly timid, Hal is fiercely loyal to those he trusts and will risk much to protect the rebellion.
Hal serves as the Grande Librarian of the Atheneum of Arelion, overseeing its vast collections of texts, artifacts, and magical relics. A passionate scholar, he has a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of the library’s contents, often astounding visitors with his ability to retrieve obscure information at a moment's notice. Despite his scholarly demeanor, Hal is a covert operative for the rebellion, using his position to gather intelligence from the aristocrats and supply valuable information to the rebel cause.

Hal Victor
Hal is a tall, gangly figure with an awkward stoop, his thin frame is often swathed in simple, scholarly robes of muted blue and silver. His brown hair is perpetually disheveled, and his pale complexion suggests he rarely sees the sun.
