Captain Maverick Thorne
Captain Maverick Thorne is the captain of the Raven Guard, the royal line's own personal guards, and head of the Vigilant Order. A man known more for his ability to be silent and then say the exactly necessary thing, he is highly regarded in the city of Gravenholm.
As a young rising star in the Vigilant Order, Maverick’s aptitude for force magic and psychological manipulation drew the attention of the Raven guard. His ability to track criminals and reach confessions without traditional torture made him an incredible fit for Spymaster. For several years, he served Captain Halin Greenbelt as Spymaster, until Greenbelt's death in a supposed Crimson Rebellion uprising. Though some concern came of this incident, he was ultimate promoted to the station of Captain of the Raven Guard at the young age of twenty-five.
However, he was proven to be a recruiter and operative within the Black Hand.
