Meister
Meister is a special role granted towards somebody that has proven themselves as a capable hunter to the Butcher's Summit. It is considered to be a title of leadership, as Meisters are in charge of rallying their local townships into dangerous hunts.
Requirements
Becoming a Meister requires the blessing of another Meister; it also requires specialised training. The general tradition is for a Meister to bring their apprentice on dangerous hunts that prove their worth as a hunter. The Meister training their apprentice never personally engages in the hunt themselves, but watches and assists from afar to ensure that their apprentice can perform a proper hunt without assistance.
Training is varied from Meister to Meister; both due to the personal tastes of the Meister in question, and due to the environment they hunt in. A Meister that specialises in fishing for example, will likely never really train an apprentice to hunt on land.
